Planes of Fame Airshow 2016

With our second airshow under our belt (and what a great show it was, thanks Planes of Fame!), here’s some behind the scenes info on how we made this video.

Believe it or not, all the video in this is shot either with a Nikon D750 using a 24-120 or a 200-500 (great lens) or with the DJI Osmo. That’s it! Video from these two cameras is absolutely awesome.

The D750 has really been a great help with this project, if for no other reason than that flip out screen. It makes getting the camera at a good angle and comfortably being able to watch the screen possible.

And the Osmo is unparalleled when I need to shoot wide and steady. That combination also makes for some pretty fun and interesting shots getting super close to an object and moving along it.

Thanks again to all who make these events happen, especially Planes of Fame and Texas Flying Legends!
