Literally the day I was packing to leave for Photoshop World a few weeks ago, I got a call from my friends at Red Rover Ventures asking if Jake and I would like to be sent to Africa in their place this October. As you might guess, we said hell ya (and thanks)!
Now, planning for a trip to Africa, usually you’d take some time, say six months to a year. We are pulling this off with 5 weeks of prep time, one of those weeks was taken up with Photoshop World. That turned out to be a blessing in disguise though as it gave us a chance to talk face to face with a lot of great people at Nikon, B&H Photo Video, Images in Africa, and Image Wizards, who are helping Jake and I get what we need to make this trip happen.
Once we got home, it was time to get all the little stuff together, like immunizations, clothes, flights, etc. Not to mention finishing a website, a BTJ (that’s right, 17.3 is on it’s way!), and some other projects coming out all before October.
Anyway, because of that, posts have been a bit few and far between, but guaranteed, I’ll have some new great stuff in just a couple weeks!
